1. Business and businessman, characteristics of business. Trade licensing, trade register. 2. Legal forms of business: legal entities, commercial companies. Starting a business. Commercial register. 3. Business assets and sources of financing. Fixed and current assets. 4. Investment activities of a business - acquisition, depreciation, capacity. Phases of investment activities. 5. Supply activities of a business - types of supplies, supply planning and management, purchasing, storage, and logistics. 6. Human resources activities of a business - human resources work, employee selection, labor relations. 7. Remuneration, types and components of wages, income tax and statutory insurance, employee benefits. 8. Company management - revenues, costs, and economic results. Calculations and their functions. 9. Financial management of a company - budgets, financial analysis, operational financial management, sources of financing. 10. Main business activities - own production, sales activities, and provision of services. 11. Marketing - market analysis, marketing research, product, price, promotion, and distribution. 12. Learning outcomes
|
The subject Company economics and management react within its boundaries to the current need of more general knowledge of the university degree holders. The aim of the subject is to get the students acquainted with the basic economic terms such as market, supply and demand and then understand the economic function of a company in market economy and understand the actual ways of financing and creation of profit or reaching the primary goal of existence of the company in question.
Manage a company existing in the field of chemical business.
