        Course content

        The lectures include thermography, magnetochemistry, crystalographic methods, microscopic methods, Mössbauer spectroscopy, methods of studying the particle size distribution and viscosity-elastic properties. 1. Optical microscopy. 2. Electron microscopy. 3. AFM-atomic force microscopy. 4. Crystals, types of crystal structures, stereochemistry of selected compounds. 5. X-ray analysis-monocrystal and powder methods. 6. Thermic analysis methods. 7. Magnetochemistry-theoretical introduction, key terminology and variables-paramagnetism, diamagnetism and their chemical interpretation-magnetic susceptibility measurements. 8. Mössbauer spectroscopy. 9. Studyof the solid surface energy. 10. Methods of studying the particle size distribution. 11. Viscosity-elastic properties of substances. 12. Study trip-instrumentation.
