The aim of the subject is to build on the previous courses Fundamentals of Cell and Developmental Biology and Molecular Cell Biology of Plants. Students will be provided an advanced view on cytoskeletal and cell signaling integration. The course will be divided into four theoretical areas. In the first part, advanced data will be presented about cytoskeleton and cell signaling. In the second part, we will focus on advanced technologies and applications, also drugs affecting the cytoskeleton and signaling will be discussed. The third part will be devoted to the relationship of the cytoskeleton and signaling and interconnection of these two vital phenomena. In the fourth block, all topics will be summarized in the context of the cell biological processes of higher orders.
