Course content
Students will present the newest technologies used in various fields of biotechnology including agricultural, medicinal, microbiological and pharmaceutical biotechnologies. Topics: 1. Introduction into the seminar 2. Introduction of suggested bachelor theses, discussion 3-13 Student seminars on biotechnological applications in agriculture, food industry, microbiology, medcine, agriculture. thical issues in biotechnology.

  • Homework for Teaching - 30 hours per semester
  • Semestral Work - 30 hours per semester
Learning outcomes
Seminar focused on modern trends and the latest findings in biotechnology. Active motivation of students to search for topics for their bachelor's theses. Presentation of all available opportunities within the Faculty of Science at UPOL.
Students will gain skills in presenting biotechnological information. The will obtain insight into the recent advances in biotechnological research.
