        Course content
     | 
    
        Model systems (yiests, Drosophila, mice). PCR-based diganostic methods. Stem cells technology. Gene transfer into mammalian cells. Gene engineering in mammalina embryonal stem cells, gene knock-out, gene knock-in, nuclear transfer ("clonning"), CGH, Array CGH, M-FISH and other techniques of molecular cytogenetics. Gene libraries, preparation of genetic primers for diagnosis. Microdissection and its use in characterisation of each cell, linear DNA/RNA amplification. Microchips and its use for study of RNA expression or detection of SNPs. Analyses of proteins in Medicine (Western Blot, enzyme immunoanalysis, RIA, immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence, Proteomics). Flow-cytometry. Monoclonal antibodies, technoogy of preparation, humanization, diagnostic and therapeutic utilization.
