|
Antiquity: imaging theories in ancient states, geometry in ancient Greece and Rome, the beginnings of cartography, the history of architecture. Middle Ages: imaging methods in the Middle Ages, building foundries, stonemason guilds, important builders, the Prague Imperial Foundry Modern Age: development of imaging theories in the Renaissance, development of imaging methods on a geometric basis and the beginnings of descriptive geometry (perpendicular projection onto one projection plane, perspective, parallel projection), the emergence and rapid development of projective geometry, important geometers, perpendicular projection onto two perpendicular projection planes - Gaspar Monge, mutual influence of descriptive geometry and other disciplines (cartography, kinematic geometry, photogrammetry, etc.) Development of descriptive geometry teaching in the Czech lands: emergence and development of technical universities from the 18th century to the present, important professors, emergence and development (reforms) of secondary schools from the 18th century to the present, important professors, teaching DG in secondary schools, descriptive geometry textbooks, history of teaching descriptive geometry from the second half of the 20th century at various types of secondary schools.
