Course content
Modern educational technology: its principles, operation, and basic maintenance. Commercial and freeware applications for educational purposes. Educational portals. Educational social networks. Didactic aspects of selected technical teaching systems, computer systems, information and communication technologies, media, and multimedia. Principles, operation, and basic maintenance of selected technical teaching aids. Basic user skills in working with modern educational technology. Interactive whiteboards and interactive data projectors in education. Tablets, 3D printing, augmented reality (AR), and virtual reality (VR) in education. Preparation of materials and creation of presentations for static and dynamic projection. Educational presentations. Ergonomic principles for working with modern educational technology.

Learning outcomes
Course objectives: - to familiarize students with the operating principles, possibilities of use, operation, and basic maintenance of modern educational technology, - to develop students' ability to use information and communication technologies, media, and multimedia effectively and in a didactically appropriate manner in education, - to teach students to search for, evaluate, and use commercial and freeware applications, educational portals, and educational social networks for educational purposes, - to develop practical skills in working with interactive whiteboards, interactive data projectors, tablets, 3D printing, and augmented and virtual reality technologies, - to teach students to prepare materials and create educational presentations for static and dynamic projection, - to guide students in making well-considered choices of educational technologies with regard to the aims, content, methods, and forms of teaching, - to introduce students to the principles of ergonomic and safe use of modern educational technology in the educational process.
