Course content

During th efield excursion students acquire basic skills in determination of water invertebrates from various water habitats.

The course aims at presenting actual information and procedures from the branch. Major approaches, conceptual and theoretical topics are listed in syllabus.
Application The student is expected to be able to: - take samples of water organisms from both running and standing waters - recognize the most important orders and suborders of water invertebrates - identify representatives of the water invertebrates to their family using identification keys;

Elementary knowledge in hydrobiology.
