Course content
|
The subject is designed to develop greater understanding of legal aspects of nature protection, with respect to related areas of law. Themes: the constitutional basis of law for the environment and its protection. The Nature and Landscape Protection Act (General and specialist nature protection, nature protection authorities, responsibilities and violations). CITES legal form and problems. compensation for damage and harm. Natura 2000.

The course aims at presenting actual information and procedures from the branch. Major approaches, conceptual and theoretical topics are listed in syllabus.
Knowledge Describe The Czech National Council Act No. 114/1992 S.B., on the protection of nature and the landscape, in the wording of later regulations Define basic roles of of Czech Envrironmental Legislative Acts, Regulations and Implementing Decrees. Describe conditions for importing and exporting endangered species of wild fauna and flora and other measures for protection of these species (CITES)
