| 
        The seminar is dedicated to the following topics of General chemistry: - periodic system, basic chemical terms and laws, units - nomenclature of binary compounds, acids, salts and complexes - chemical formulas and chemical equations - structure of atom, electrons and configuration, molecular orbitals - stereochemistry of inorganic molecules (VSEPR, hybridization) - redox equations - thermochemistry - ideal gas law - solutions - chemical equilibrium - acid-base reactions - electrochemistry and electrolysis

                The seminar is dedicated to the first-year students of chemistry study programmes and gives an opportunity to practise in more details the subject matter of General chemistry (AFC/OBC, AFC/OBC1), focusing mainly on the nomenclature and exercises.
                 An ability to deal with practical aspects of General chemistry.  |
