Course content
The subject is focused on a concrete utilization of various Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) within the chemistry teaching, especially for primary and secondary schools. The preparation of new chemistry teaching materials is involved in the subject. Students will be introduced with the following ICT: - Modelling and simulations for the teaching of chemistry - ISIS Draw, ChemSketch and other software for the drawing of chemical formulas and apparatuses. - Chemical databases usable for the teaching of chemistry at secondary schools (3D printing, structures of compounds) - 3D printing of teaching aids - molecules, orbitals, didactic teaching aids, laboratory aids - Teaching software, applications and platforms for chemistry teaching (PowerPoint, Kahoot, Khan school etc.) - Interactive table as a modern teaching device - Platforms for on-line chemistry teaching (MS Teams, ZOOM, Google Classroom, Moodle) - Recording techniques (digital cameras, mobiles etc.) - Editing of bitmap graphics, PDF documents etc..
