Course content
Pipette and balances verification in the analytical laboratory. Measurement of electrical quantities, basic modification of electronic circuits (soldering, desoldering, interconnections, ?) Maintenance and service of " liquid chromatographs (fittings, valves, pumps, detectors, columns) " gas chromatographs (injectors, columns, detectors, gas distribution system) " mass spectrometers (ion sources, ion optics, vacuum system) " capillary electrophoresis (capillary, detectors, routine maintenance of other parts) " atomic absorption spectrometers (radiation sources, nebulizer, burner, graphite cuvettes) " ICP-MS (plasma head, sample introduction, conuses, spectrometer tuning) " optical spectrometry instruments (cleaning, checking and replacing the radiation source, optical axis adjustment, wavelength calibration, measurement condition optimization) " electrochemical analyzers (electrodes, cells) " checking the function and maintenance of small laboratory instruments (pH meter, conductometer, polarimeter, refractometer, dielectrometer, ?)

The aim is to develop skills in user service and maintenance of instruments used in modern procedures of chemical analysis.
The ability to carry out routine maintenance and user service of analytical instrumentation.
Prerequisites
Acquaintance with analytical instrumentation and its normal operation.

To fulfil the assignments in laboratory classes in accordance with instructions provided by the teacher. 100% attendance in the classes.
