Course content
|
Quality of the results in chemical analysis. Accreditation of laboratories. Quality assurance, interlaboratory comparison (PT-schemes). Errors and uncertainties of chemical measurements. Sampling and sample preparation. Control charts. Metrology in Chemistry - reference materials, traceability. Method's validation. Optimization and choosing optimal method.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim is to acquaint with basics of metrology in chemistry.
Manage proper operation of the analytical laboratory, propose proper operational procedures

Prerequisites
|
The knowledge of basics of general, organic, anorganic, physical, analytical chemistry and biochemistry is recommended.

Written exam, Student performance
50% success in a written test and the ability to discuss the selected theme of the subject
