Course content
The course is intended for the students of the third year of bachelor's degree program. It is focused on reading, translation, understanding and use of technical documentation in English from manufacturers of analytical instrumentation (manuals, application sheets, tutorials, videos).

Learning outcomes
The course aims to develop students' abilities to use materials from analytical instrumentation manufacturers in English and to improve communication skills with foreign employees, e.g. service-related consultations. The subject will also contribute to a closer acquaintance with the analytical instrumentation used in the commercial sphere and the enhancement of the employment opportunities of bachelor's degree students in industrial and control laboratories.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

The student must be familiar with the technical documentation and must be able to extract the information necessary to ensure the normal operation of the laboratory equipment, its maintenance, diagnostics and minor repairs. The student must fulfill the 75% attendance requirement and pass the final test (min. 50% points) to obtain a credit,
