Course content
|
Concentration procedures for treatment of voluminous samples (PTV technique, steam chromatography, chilling , adsorption). Distillation procedures ( steam distillation, distillation - extraction). Membrane application. Atmosphere sampling, aerosols (adsorption and absorption, sampling tubes, denuders and scrubers). Preparation of gas mixtures.Static and dynamic head space analysis. Extraction of solid samples ( sonography, microwaves, pressure extraction). Liquid extraction, thickening. Supercritic fluid extraction (SFE), solid phase extraction (SPE, SPME). Multidimensional techniques ( column switching, combination of methods ).

The knowledge of basics of analytical chemistry and instrumental methods of analytical chemistry is recommended.
