Course content
The aim is continuous independent student´s research focused on a topic of dissertation thesis in agreement with tasks defined in an individual study program or assigned by a supervisor, especially: - update of literature search related to the topic of dissertation thesis; - improvement of skills to operate analytical instruments and to perform other experimental procedures, e.g. sample treatment; - independent experimental work; - critical evaluation of acquired experimental data including application of relevant statistical methods in a context of solved problems; - regular presentation of experimental data to student´s supervisor; - preparation of materials for presentation of results (for seminars, conferences, papers);

Learning outcomes

Recognize and formulate the problem of a chosen or given topic from the field of analytical chemistry
Prerequisites
The knowledge of basics of analytical chemistry and instrumental methods of analytical chemistry is recommended.
