New modern high-resolving power mass analyzers: orbitrap and cyclotron 4. Desorption electrospray and jet dissociation for the analysis of tissues and whole blood 5. Biomarker discovery: Surface Enhanced Laser Desorption Ionization 6. Metabolomics 7. Surface Plasmon Resonance: interactions studies 8. Mass Microscopy and mass imaging: direct approach to biomarkers 9. Diagnostics of selected disorders
