Sampling. Volumetric glassware (plasticware), calibration, pipetting. Determination of extractables, liquid-liquid extraction, Soxhlet extraction, solid phase extraction (SPE). Titrations. Drying of samples, solvents and reagents, determination of water. Basics of selected instrumental methods. Measuring instruments in the chemical laboratory - requirements

The tutorial acquaints students with procedures and skills used in the analytical laboratory with respect to procedures employed when working according to certain regulations (e.g. good manufacturing practice).
The ability to carry out basic operations in a chemical laboratory with respect to safety rules.

Knowledge of high school chemistry.
