Reading of English scientific texts and translation thereof based on analysis of sentences and focused on gaining knowledge of chemical terminology.

Learning outcomes
|
Promotion of language skills related to comprehension of scientific texts in English.
Expansion of vocabulary. Ability to recognize the function and mutual relationship of words in a sentence based on determination of sentence constituents. Knowledge of the most frequently used formulations, phrases and idioms occuring in English scientific texts.

Language skills at the level of completed high school education.
