Course content
Instrumentation in gas chromatography - columns, detectors, inlets. Maintaining and troubleshooting. Sample preparation. Applications of gas chromatography - organic acids and bases, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, sugars, lipids, polymers, food analysis, environmental analysis, forensic analysis, chiral separations, preparative gas chromatography, pyrolysis.

Learning outcomes
The aim is to acquire a view of applications of gas chromatography in different fields.
Apply theoretical knowledge for the solution of model problems in the field of the gas chromatography
Prerequisites
The knowledge of basics of analytical chemistry and instrumental methods of analytical chemistry is recommended.
