Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to provide students with detailed information on the organization and performance of public administration in the field of administrative punishment. The graduates of the course will be familiar with the legal regulation of all the essential institutes in the field of administrative punishment under the relevant legislation, especially under the Constitutional Act No. 1/1993 Coll., the Constitution of the Czech Republic, the Constitutional Act No. 2/1993 Coll., the Charter of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, the Act No. 250/2016 Coll., on Liability for Offences and Proceedings on Them, the Act No. 251/2016 Coll., on Certain Offences, the Act No. 500/2004 Coll., the Administrative Code and other relevant legislation governing the issue of orderly and disciplinary administrative offences. The graduate of the course will also master the issues of European administrative criminal law, the sources of which are the European Convention for the Protection of Fundamental Rights and Freedoms, the related case law of the European Court of Human Rights and the resolutions and recommendations of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe.
