Course content
The focus will be on the following key themes: 1. Administrative supervision. 2. Legal Guarantees within the public administration - overview. 3. Right to Information in Public Administration. 4. Liability for damage in public administration. 5. Ombudsperson. 6. Parliamentary control of public administration. 7. Control of public administration by the Supreme Audit Office. 8. Judicial control of public administration I. Administrative Judiciary. 9. Judicial control of public administration II. Constitutional Judiciary. 10. Right to fair procedure. 11. Protection of individual rights within public administration. 12. European administrative law. The lectures will be followed up by seminars. Seminars aim to consolidate and practice theoretical knowledge.

Learning outcomes
This course follows up the course General Administrative Law I., it deals with other general issues of administrative law, especially issues on public administration control and legal guarantees of individuals' rights. Students are acquainted with legal regulation in question, doctrinal view of the topics in question and relevant case law.
Upon completion of the course, students will be able to better understand the relations between public administration and other components of public power. They also become familiar with mechanims that can be used to control public administration and to protect individual rights.

This course follows up the course of General Administrative Law I.

Mark

Obligatory attendance at seminars, passing tests at seminars. Final oral exam on topics of General Administrative Law I and II.
