Course content
1. Introduction to legal regulation of transport - road, rail transport. 2. Roads - categories of roads, origin and extinction, territorial and building proceedings in building roads, state administration. 3. Use of roads, restrictions on the use of roads, closures. 4. Rail transport - category of railways, railway construction, regulation of rail operation, state administration 5. Road and Rail Traffic - Road Law and Road Safety, regulation of rail transport 6. Offenses in the section of roads, traffic on roads, railways

Learning outcomes
Upon completion of the subject the student will acquire basic knowledge in the field of roads and railways, they will know the conditions and the process of the setting up of roads and especially their distinction from private roads, the processes of the setting up and operation of railways. They will also gain knowledge of the infractions in the area of the roads and railways and they will be able to resolve some practical issues, such as setting up a reserved parking place or the limitation of the traffic on the road, e.g. due to construction work.
