Course content
The themes of courses: 1. The introduction to the internal administration, the Ministry of interior 2. The Register Office, name and surname 3. The statistics of inhabitants, population census 4. The identity cards 5. The passports 6. The regional division of the Czech Republic, national emblems, administration of archives 7. The citizenship of CR 8. The Residency of foreigners in CR 9. The asylum law 10. Information systems in public administration 11. The gathering law 12. Archival and file service 13. The emergency administration, integrated rescue system, fire protection

Learning outcomes
The aim of this course is to provide a deeper knowledge of the internal management, which is one of the traditional branches of government. First, an overview of the matters covered by the Ministry of Interior. Other seminars will no longer concentrated on selected topics closer to the internal administration of classification. The purpose of the seminar will introduce students to the sources of law, especially at the level of laws. Teaching positive law will also be complemented by the relevant rulings of the Czech administrative courts, the Constitutional Court, the European Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights. The seminar will also address practical examples.
Students who have completed this course will gain the knowledge and skills necessary for the orientation in the administration of interior affairs. The course provides the students with capability to consider individuals' rights and duties and to conduct the procedure in the position of administrative authority or to defend client's rights in the position of an attorney.
Prerequisites
Completion of this course is not conditional upon completion of any other course.
