1.- 2. Mass media as subject of legal regulation. Instruments of mass media regulation. Regulation of access to mass media. 3.-4.Regulation of content of mass media (requierement of unbiased and balanced information and protection of healthy development of children) 5.-6. Regulation of mass media content (protection of personal rights)

Learning outcomes
|
The course provides information on public law regulation of periodical publishing and radio and television broadcasting. Legal conditions for periodical publishing and broadcasting shall be presented. The students shall be encouraged practise the general administrative law on cases relating to mass media regulation and to discuss current legal issues and analyse them among others rom the point of view of constitutional and general principles.
Students who have completed this course will gain the knowledge of legal conditions for starting periodical publishing and broadcasting and will gain knowledge and skills necessary to consider mass media contents from the legal point of view.

|
Student performance, Seminar Work, Written exam
Active participation at seminars, preparing and giving a presentation, knowledge test (edis) and easy case study (edis).
