Přednášky: 1. Introduction to the substantive law of the EU and forms of economic integration (System of trade preferences, Free Trade Area, Customs Union, Common Market, Internal/Single market) 2. Free movement of goods: EU as a Customs Union, prohibition of duties and charges having an equivalent effect. 3. Free movement of goods: articles 90-93 TFEU: Discriminatory Tax Provisions, the boundary between art. 23-25 and 90-93. 4. Free movement of goods: quantitative restrictions and exceptions under art 30 TEC. 5. Free movement of goods: indistinctly applicable rules, Dassonville and Cassis de Dijon case-law, the mandatory requirements as exceptions from the prohibition of indistinctly applicable rules. 6. EU Citizenship and free movement of workers, students, job-seekers, Dir. 2004/38 and EU citizens. Rights of third country nationals in the European Union and their participation in the internal market. 7. Předmět se zaměřuje na vnitřní i vnější hospodářské dimenze evropské integrace. V prvé řadě bude pozornost věnována vnitřnímu trhu EU, zejména podrobně čtyřem svobodám (volný pohyb zboží, osob, služeb a kapitálu) a unijnímu soutěžnímu právu a jeho interakci s právem národním. V kurzu budou probrány novodobější fenomény, zejména základy fiskální a bankovní unie a jejich dopad na národní hospodářské politiky. Kromě toho kurz pokryje i vnější ekonomickou dimenzi, primárně společnou obchodní politiku na venek a základy fungování Evropského hospodářského prostoru.
Dobrá znalost ekonomicko-právních faktorů realizace základních svobod vnitřního trhu a znalost pravidel fungování hospodářské soutěže zvyšuje potenciál studenta uspět v konkurenčním boji na pracovním trhu jak ve veřejné, tak v soukromé sféře. Přidanou hodnotou je dovednost orientace ve speciální terminologii odborného anglického jazyka. Poskytuje studentům hlubší pohled na problematiku vnitřního trhu EU a implementaci s ním spojených čtyř základních svobod.
