Course content
1. The relationship of private and public law in different legal cultures 2. Legal category of private rights 3. Theory of a legal act in legal cultures 4. The right of ownership in different legal cultures 5. The property rights to things foreign 6. Contractual system and types of contracts 7. Inheritance law in different legal cultures

Learning outcomes
This subject deals with the institutions of the private law in the diferent legal cultures of different states. The aim of this subject is to prove that in the sphere of the commercial law and bussiness relations among individuals and the states, there is only a limited number of solutions, which are repating again and again in the course of history, In the frame ofv this subject we can study these solutions in the history and use these solution from the past in our times.
Students should acquire historical view of the isntitutions of the private law and the sklil for using this point of view in the solution of the modern legal problems.

Completion of this course is not conditional upon some other courses.

Student performance

For the students i tis compulsory to attend the seminars during the course, they have to prove their ability to apply the knowlidge of the ancient solutions to the contemporary problems by the semester work and presentation.
