Learning outcomes
Subject is aimed to familiarize with the conditions of law's origin, his essence and reasons for his existence and functioning. It gives summary of particular approaches to legal thinking from ancient world to the 20th century. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Students who have completed this course will gain the knowledge of conditions of law's origin, his essence and reasons for his existence and functioning and also of particular approaches to legal thinking from ancient world to the 20th century.
Prerequisites
Completion of this course is not conditional upon completion of some other courses.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

It is essential that those students who would like to get the exam (in written form) must have the knowledge within the scope of compulsory literature. The student is required to work with the learning objects, which have been created for the concrete subject and are available for authorized students in LMS EDIS.
