Course content
1. History of state and law of Egypt and Mesopotamia 2. History of state and law of Persia 3. History of state and law of China and India 4. History of state and law Arab caliphate 5. History of state and law of Ottoman Empire 6. History of state and law in Armenia, Georgia and Azerbaijan 7. History of state and law on the territory of Latin America 8. National liberation movements in America in 19. century 9. Philippines - evolution towards independent state 10. Forms of French colonialism in countries of Maghreb in 19. and 20. century 11. Japan fascism 12. Emerging of independent states in Africa and Asia after World War II.

Learning outcomes
The course will concentrate on the history of state and law in selected countries of Asia, Africa and Latin America.
Students who have completed this course will gain the knowledge necessary to understand the features of law.
Prerequisites
The completion of this course is not conditioned upon completion of any other courses.

It is essential that those students who would like to get the credit must have attendance within the scope set by the seminar teacher and they also must succeed in the exam.
