Topics of seminars: Main principles of obligations Loan for use and Loan for Consumption Law of Sale Mainly Loan, Contract of Employment, Contract for Work Damnum iniuria datum, iniuria, alienatio in fraudem creditorum Receptum nautarum, stabulorium, cauponarum, Lex Rhodia de iactu Unjustified enrichment

Learning outcomes
This facultative course is closely connected with the courses Roman Law 1 and 2 and the main goal of this course is to enrich knowledge of students about main types of roman contracts and quasi-contracts.
Students who have completed this course will gain skills and knowledge essential to the correct understanding of general principles of selected roman contracts. Students will be aware of historical development of the law of contracts in the context of european legal science. Great attention is paid to the solvig of practical cases taken from the ancient sources and also from the contemporary practice of the course (mainly czech Supreme Court).
Prerequisites
Students who want to complete this course must first successfully complete the course Roman Law 1 and Roman Law 2.

Assessment methods and criteria
Mark

For the succesfull completion of the course (to get credit) it is essentional to have an active attendance in the seminars and to pass an oral exam succesfully - to individually solve selected case from Digest and compare the opinion of the roman jurists from this specific case with similar case from the contemporary law.
