Learning outcomes
The course focuses on the legal history of public law and is the subject of the specialization Administrative Law, the specialization Criminal Law and the specialization Constitutional Law. It is a course belonging to the first pillar of the programme, i.e. a course developing the student's theoretical knowledge. The course supplements the student's theoretical knowledge acquired in the Master's degree programme, in particular by providing detailed information on the historical development of public law in the territory of the present Czech Republic. The course is designed as a two-semester course. In the winter semester, the lecture focuses on pre-enlightenment Czech legal history in a way that will be useful for all students of the participating disciplines, i.e. criminal law, administrative law and constitutional law. For each type of legal source, the problems and development of each of these disciplines will be excerpted and demonstrated with examples from contemporary practice.
Students who have completed this course will gain the knowledge necessary to understand the features of law.
Prerequisites
The completion of this course is not conditioned upon completion of any other courses.
