Learning outcomes
The Convention on International Sale of Goods is an international convention establishing unified substantive law of sale. The aim of the subject is the students' orientation within the CISG legal regulation and the sphere of application by the national courts and outside the national laws defined under the rules of the International private law. The subject innovation has been supported by the project Support of Interdisciplinary studies and Study Programmes Innovations at Palacký University in Olomouc, CZ.1.07/2.2.00/28.0091.
Students are going to orientate themselves well in the area of the CISG legal regulation and they will also practice solving cases with foreign elements under this international convention.
Prerequisites
The completion of this course is not conditioned upon completion of any other courses.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

Very good knowledge of German language and good knowledge of Legal German is required. Basic knowledge from the area of Civil Law is required too.
