Learning outcomes
Students are meant to make a choice whether they would like to study French or German as a second foreign langure. This subject is considered to be an optional subject. The seminar is intended for those students who have not reached the standard language level A1 as classified by the European Language Standard System. The aim of the seminar in the winter as well as summer term is to prepare the students for the A1 standard as well as gaining basic knowledge of technical language in the area of legal branches and the legal system of the country and language selected. The lessons are focused on basic grammatical features in connection with the legal language of law professionals.
Students who complete this course will gain the fundamental knowledge of the foreign language chosen including basic knowledge of legal terminology.
Prerequisites
Completion of this subject is not conditional upon completion of another subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written exam

In order to get the credit it is essential that the students have a regular attendance in the scope set by the seminar leader. The students must also complete the tasks assigned by the teacher.
