Learning outcomes
The Language Department offers subject "Legal French II" to students that wish to continue in studying legal French and have already completed obligatory subject "Foreign Language for Specific Purposes - French". The subject is focusing a comparison of legal and constitutional systems of French-speaking countries. Topics build on those studied in lessons of obligatory subjects of French in the 1st and the 2nd year of the master study programme of law. The subject also focuses on the comparison of differences in legal terminology used when speaking about same legal institutes in French-speaking countries. The aim of the subject is to train all language skills and specific knowledge of legal terminology.
Students will fasten knowledge and skills in Legal French and they will compare legal systems of French speaking countries.
Prerequisites
Completion of this subject is not conditional upon completion of another subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance

In order to get the credit it is essential that the students have a regular attendance in the scope set by the seminar leader. The students must also complete the tasks assigned by the teacher.
