Course content
1. Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen - Textsorte Gesetz und Vorlesung, Lese- und Hörverstehen. 2. Überraschende Klauseln im Vertrag, Vertrag im Internet - Vorlesung, Urteil. 3. Kontrolle allgemeiner Geschäftsbedingungen, Fall Heinz - deutsche Rechtsprechung als Inspiration für das neue tschechische ZGB 4. + 5. Eigentum - Schutz des Eigentums und des Besitzes, Einschränkung des Eigentümers, Videofall Der Entsorgte Pkw 6. Verschuldenshaftung: Vorsatz, Fahrlässigkeit, Haftung ohne Verschulden 7. + 8. Schadensersatz I. Zahlungskartenvertrag, Vertragsverletzung, Fahrlässigkeit, Videofall PIN 9. + 10. Schadensersatz II. Haftung des Arztes, Videofall Ärztliche Aufklärungspflicht. 11. + 12. Gruppenarbeit - Fälle mit Rechtsprechung, Interpretation des Sachverhalts, der Leitsätze und der Begründung 13. Final presentations

Learning outcomes
The optional subject will provide students with the opportunity to extend their professional language competences in German civil law. The course is aimed at providing students with necessary background in German civil Law, as well as improving general language skills.
Legal vocabulary, grammar, communicative skills, reading, writing, listening, giving opinions.
Prerequisites
For successful completion of this course it is necessary to have at least basic knowledge of civil law (at least 2 semesters) and good level of knowledges of general German.

Student performance

The condition for successful completion of the course is participation in seminars to the extent specified by the teacher and fulfillment of obligations set by the teacher for the seminar.
