Course content
Seminar topics: 1. Jura-Studium in Deutschland / Studium práva v Německu a Rakousku. 2. Juristische Berufe / Právnická povolání 3. Vývoj práva - Die Rechtsentwicklung 4. Obyčejové právo ? Gewohnheitsrecht 5. Právní odvětví - Gliederung des Rechts / Rechtsgebiete 6. Stát a právní řád - Der Staat und die Rechtsordnung 7. Subjektivní práva a povinnosti - Subjektive Rechte und Pflichten 8. Moderní právo - Das moderne Recht 9. Rovnost a diskriminace - Gleichheit und Diskriminierung 10. Prameny německého práva - Rechtsquellen des deutschen Rechts 11 Hierarchie norem a kolize norem - Normenhierarchie und Kollisionsregeln

Learning activities and teaching methods

Learning outcomes
The students choose the second foreign language as a compulsory subject (German). They are supposed to have intermediate knowledge of general language. The subject called 2nd foreign language is focused on technical legal terminology. During the 1st term they consolidate their knowledge of the general language. The students further study new legal terminology.
Students who have completed this subject will gain knowledge and skills in the field of technical legal terminology and will become familiar with german legal system.
Prerequisites
Completion of this subject is not conditional upon completion of another subject.

Assessment methods and criteria
Student performance, Written exam

In order to get the credit it is essential that the students have a regular attendance in the scope set by the seminar leader. The students must also complete the tasks assigned by the teacher.
