Course content
1. A general introduction to human rights 2. The European Union and the Council of Europe instruments 3. Freedom of expression, respect for private life, freedom of religion. Hate speeches. 4. Conflicting rights in the specific context of the internet 5. The right to a fair trial in the European Convention on Human Rights and in the EU Charter of Fundamental Rights 6. The current challenges of immigration and asylum seeking 7. Judicial cooperation in matters of civil family cooperation - marriage, registered partnerships 8. Judicial cooperation in matters of civil family cooperation - divorce and legal separation 9. Judicial cooperation in matters of family civil cooperation - parental responsibility 10. Judicial cooperation in matters of civil family cooperation - child abduction 11. Judicial cooperation in matters of civil family cooperation - maintenance obligations

Learning outcomes
This subject will deepen the knowledge acquired in the previous subject Technical Foreign Language I. - 1,2,3. The lessons are in French.
Those students who complete this subject will deepen their knowledge and skills in the area of technical terms connected with Community and European Law. Students attending this seminar will work with technical texts in French.
Prerequisites
Completion of this subject is conditioned by the successful completion of the subject called JAZ3F.

In order to get the credit for the test the students must attend the seminars in the extent set by the tutor and they also have to meet all the requirements as defined by the tutor.
