New and innovative trends in speech therapy 13. DSM V. ICD 10th revision of the WHO, a system of codes, ICF - terminology, orientation system codes. 14. Basic aspects of the organization of speech therapy and counseling for individuals in the early, pre-school and school age and adolescence. Speech therapy in adulthood, working with hospitalized patients.

The aim of the course is a detailed insight into the system of organization of speech therapy care in the Czech Republic in individual departmental views and in comparison, with foreign countries. Students will learn about the system of classification of diseases, disabilities and health. They will also be able to describe the general specifics of the organization of speech therapy care in relation to individual age groups.
The outcomes of the subject are based on partial profile of the subject`s absolvent. |

Graduation requirements: Credit : Prerequisite for credit is: 1.min. 80% active participation in seminars/exercises ( fulfilment confirmed by Dr. Vrbová) - Continuous training in the ability to present and link the knowledge acquired in LZPO with current topics in the field 2. presentation ( own speech) News related to the subject 3. elaboration of an article from the assigned recommended professional sources (including historical) with reflection of own acquired/current knowledge (submission in time for the duration of the semester) Exam: - Oral examination |
