- Dysarthria - terminology, classification - developmental and acquired form, etiology, symptomatology, diagnosis and intervention, prevention and prognosis. Profiling personalities and literature. Diagnostic and didactic material, special methodological, technical and instrumental aids. Interdisciplinary cooperation. - Specifics of dysarthria in cerebral palsy. Notable figures and literature. Diagnostic and didactic material, special methodological, technical, and instrumental aids. Aphasia - terminology, classification, main etiology, symptomatology, basics of diagnosis and intervention, prevention, and prognosis. Notable figures and literature. - Alexia, agraphia, acalculia, apraxia, and agrammatism as part of the concept of phatic disorders. Profiling personalities and literature. Diagnostic and didactic material, special methodological, technical, and instrumental aids. Interdisciplinary cooperation. Orofacial system disorders and myofunctional disorders - terminology, classification, etiology, symptomatology, diagnosis and intervention, prevention and prognosis. Fundamentals of orofacial and myofunctional therapy for educational and counseling environments - basic diagnostic intervention techniques. - Swallowing disorders - terminology, classification, etiology, symptomatology, diagnosis and intervention, prevention and prognosis. Profiling personalities and literature. Diagnostic and didactic material on OFS disorders and swallowing disorders, special methodological, technical and instrumental aids. Comparison with other countries. Interdisciplinary cooperation. - Terminology, classification, application of impaired communication skills in diagnosis within individual areas. Methods and means of diagnosis in the school and counseling environment with a focus on older school age, adolescence, and early adulthood. Interdisciplinary cooperation in speech therapy - the position of speech therapists in education. Profiling personalities and literature. - Alternative and augmentative communication, speech therapy aids and technology. Diagnostic and didactic material, special methodological, technical, and instrumental aids. Comparison with other countries. Interdisciplinary cooperation. - Possibilities for speech therapy prevention and education. Types, degrees, forms, and means of speech therapy prevention - comparison with foreign concepts, concepts and possibilities of speech therapy prevention in individual departments. Current status, forms, means, and perspectives of speech therapy education. - The specifics of speech therapy prevention in relation to different age categories and areas of impaired communication skills. Interdisciplinary concept of speech therapy prevention and education. Ethical aspects of speech therapy work - comparison with foreign concepts.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is a deeper insight into neurogenic and fatal disorders with a focus on the specifics of diagnosis and intervention in older school age and adolescence. The bulk of the course will deal with comprehensive speech therapy diagnosis across all areas of impaired communication skills.
The outcomes of the subject are based on partial profile of the subject`s absolvent.
