Course content
The discipline treats the system and functioning of the counselling.

Learning outcomes
The goal of the discipline is to familiarize students with the issues of autism spectrum disorders, mainly with regard to the basic characteristics of people with ASD and the possibilities of education for individuals with ASD. After its completion, the student should be able to: ? characterize autism, individuals with ASD and its manifestations; ? describe disorders related to autism; ? get an overview of the possibilities of raising and educating people with ASD, about the support measures that pupils with ASD can use; ? orient yourself in other approaches that can be used in the educational process. Teaching theses: ? Terminological basics of PAS issues ? Etiology and etiopathogenesis of PAS ? ASD symptomatology (qualitative disturbances in the area of ??communication, qualitative disturbances in the area of ??social interaction, qualitative disturbances in the area of ??imagination and stereotypic manifestations, non-specific manifestations of autism) ? Specifics of communication and the use of alternative and augmentative forms of communication for individuals with ASD ? Specificity of the sexuality of people with ASD ?
