The birth of a child with a disability is one of the stressful situations. An early care worker should be theoretically and practically prepared for how to appropriately communicate with a family into which a child with a disability was born. The content of the subject will be the following topics: -The birth situation of a disabled child (specification according to individual disabilities). -Phase of the family's reaction to this fact. -Types of family education and the possibilities of influencing them. -Forms of communication with family. - Specifics of communication with the family into which a child with a disability was born. -Ethics in the helping professions.
