The subject offers students a cross-section of the work with individuals with visual disabilities as part of intervention. The aim of the subject is to activate and develop the personality and social competences of the student in the field of inclusive education of the child and pupil with visual impairment, as well as the possibility of gaining practical experience directly from practitioners. Theoretical themes focused on the specifics of children, pupils and persons with visual impairment, consequences, education, but also the possibilities and necessity of development and activation of individual functions during the educational process will be mediated by practical activation themes such as work with compensatory and didactic aids, visual therapy, stimulation, spatial orientation and, above all, communication with the visually impaired person as well as the environment and the family. In addition to the above mentioned topics, we will focus on the specifics of the educational process of the child with visual impairment, the access to it, the adaptation of the educational process in individual subjects in a practical part of the subject so that the graduate of this subject can react adequately in the future inclusion to work with the pupil with visually impairement.
The outcomes of the subject are based on partial profile of the subject`s absolvent. |
