The course is intended for complete beginners who have no previous experience with German. The student does not need to have any knowledge of the German language, just the enthusiasm to learn something new. During the course of the course we will discuss the basics of grammatical phenomena and vocabulary. We will also focus on basic communicative phrases and practice short dialogues to increase the participants' language skills. The goal of the course is for the graduate to understand the basics of German grammar (timing of regular verbs, inflection of regular nouns, sentence structure, etc.), be able to use basic vocabulary, and not be afraid to use German in basic sentences and phrases.
