Course content
Overview of the history of business thinking, development of economy. Economic theories of the 20th century and of today. Microeconomics: Analysing situations between consumers, companies and the state, functioning of the market, the "invisible hand of the market" and the "visible hand of the state", market failure, price wars - theory of games, formation of monopoly, labour markets, land markets, capital markets.

Learning outcomes
An outline of the history of economic thought, the development of economics. Economic theories in the twentieth century and today. Microeconomics: analyses of situations that occur respectively between consumers, companies, and state; market functions; "the invisible hand of the market" and "the visible hand of state"; market failures; rate wars - the theory of games; origins of the monopoly; labour, land, and capital markets. Macroeconomics: fiscal and monetary policies, unemployment, economic growth indicators, GDP, consumer prices index, etc. Economic policy and civil society.
