Topics: Movement and sports games in the TV curriculum at the first level of schools. Basics of sports games - methodology and means of teaching individual activities. Rules of small sided sports games. Organization of tournaments, and activities of the referee. Aspects of safety and health protection of the pupil in the implementation of movement games and sports games.

Upon completion of the course, students should be able to: - use sports games in different parts of PE lessons, based on the conditions of a particular school, - to orientate oneself in didactic methods used in teaching the basics of sports games at the first stage of primary school according to the curriculum, - ensure the pupil's safety during movement and sports games.
