Course content
|
The definition of the role and position of a pedagogic counsellor. The cooperation of a pedagogic counsellor with the school management and other members of the pedagogical staff. The basic principles of the ethics of the work of a pedagogic counsellor. The standart activities of a pedagogic counsellor. The keeping of the basic documentation. The principles of the running a counselling talk. The basic types and techniques of counselling intervention.

Learning outcomes
|
The students will understand the special nature of the role of a pedagogic counsellor and will acquire the basic dimensions of their work in the school environment.
Graduates acquire the prerequisites for application of knowledge in their counseling practice.

Knowledge of the basic psychological disciplines.

Seminar Work
Literature study, active participation in seminars, working up tasks according to teacher's requirements.
