Course content
The subject of "Monitoring, evaluating and auto-evaluating of the educational consulting" is intended to familiarize students with the basics of the evaluation. The students should acquire the necessary knowledge about particular phases of the evaluation process and its particularity in the field of pedagogy and psychology. The subject is focused on the quantitative and qualitative methods of evaluation. The students should be able to design and realize an evaluating project with all necessities, that means students should be familiarize with the theory of evaluation, they should formulate the problem, questions and should be able to choose an appropriate research design as well as to choose a sample from population. In addition, they should determine an appropriate method for collection and data analysis.

Learning outcomes
The subject main goal is to help students with a successful dealing with their profession of pedagogical counselors. - Introduction to the subject (the evaluation, goals, resources, methods). - The choosing and determination of the problem, the hypothesis definition. - Data collection (methods of data collection, questionnaires, the questionnaire creation, observation, interview). - The statistical processing of data and the results interpretation (statistical methods). - The results generalization. - Ethics and other aspects of evaluating process and its publication (rights of participants, researcher's responsibility).
