Course content
Pedagogical psychology is presented in the structure of basic topics being important for school conditions and the profession of a teacher. The discipline content is constituted by the following themes which can be developed into various directions (subject of pedagogical psychology, methods, psychology of motivation, psychology of emotion, psychology of learning, psychology of education, psychology of subject matters, brush-up, transfer, assessment and marking, etc.) Social psychology is presented in the structure of basic topics being important for school conditions and the profession of a teacher. The discipline content comprises the following themes - subject and methods of social psychology, social communication, personal perception, socialization, group dynamism, social conformity, leadership, aggressive behaviour and its causes, influence of mass media on children's behaviour, etc.

Learning outcomes
Mental development in the process of learning. Essence, rules and types of learning. factors influencing the effectivity of learning.Motivation, emotional aspects of learning. Assessment, testing and marking.
Students will understand the psychological patterns of the educational process, gain skills to optimize the educational process and increase its effectiveness.
Prerequisites
Knowledge of general and developmental psychology.
