Course content
|
The topics of the subject: Curriculum: curriculum styles, curriculum resources and components. The adult education specifics and patterns. The procedure for creating an education program (the basic scheme). Educational requirements analysis (general concept, resources and methods/ techniques, analytical activities, preparation and conducting analytical activity, inclusive of wording the results). Analysis of the expected group of participants in education. Analysis of realisation resources of the education submitter (limiting factors - e.g. finance, time, material conditions, availability of competent educators, etc.). Wording of the final educational aims and their elaboration, up to the level of sub-aims of the individual teaching entities, curriculum definition, and curriculum creation - stipulating the sequence of lessons. Supporting curriculum stipulation (study props, education tools, etc.), logistical provision for implementing the educational event. Monitoring and evaluation as part of the education program project. Possible approaches to evaluating an educational event.

The subject is conceived in such manner that the students subsequent to its completion would be able to: explain the term curriculum, title, and also explain the possible styles of curriculum, describe the resources and components of curriculum, review the quality of a presented education programme project, compile an education project in the extent of minimum 20 hours and defend its quality with respect especially for evaluation.
