Learning outcomes
|
The subject focuses on the theoretical fundamentals of pedagogy. The starting point is the scientific field of pedagogy and its historical development. Fundamental characters, functions and resources of pedagogy are specified. The subject contains the following topics: Pedagogical disciplines system. Relation of pedagogy to other sciences. Terminology, explanation of the most frequently used pedagogical terms and the relations between them with respect for the historically-comparative angle. The aim and contents of education in various philosophical concepts. Resources upon stipulating an educational task, its classification and concretization. The education process, phases, principles, efficiency - a comparative approach. Educational tools: institutions, methods, forms, tools in historical progress. Pedagogical interaction: the teacher - the pupil. Biological, mental and social facilities of Man. Cognition and self-cognition. The developmental factors of a human individual - heredity, environment, education. The school's climate. Existing school's climate analysis, inspiration through alternative schooling systems.
